FROM THE DEPTHS OF THE SOUL

FROM THE DEPTHS OF THE SOUL - by Huberto Rohden

No man in this world had lived so abundant life as Jesus of Nazareth, although some religious literature wants us to believe that he had only a life of misery and suffering. The physical suffering of Jesus during his 33 years of life, do not cover full 15 hours, hours that were 100% voluntary. His moral distress came constantly illuminated by the consciousness of the great mission that brought him onto Earth, providing with all his sufferings a halo of divine poetry and profound happiness. "I give you peace, I leave you with my peace - he said on the eve of his death - so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be perfect."

He who speaks from the depths of the soul, has abundant life and could make it overflow in human souls receptive to receive it. And His life was abundant not only in spirit, but also in  mind and body: perfect holiness, wisdom and sanity, perfect happiness of the soul through love, from the mind through knowledge of all laws of nature and body, thanks to a health never affected by even milder disease.

Being that the common man is more materialistic than spiritual, is natural that the masters of the spiritual life are usually determined ascetics and greatly insisting on the necessity of renunciation, the radical detachment from material goods and sensitive pleasures which enslaves the profane. Jesus himself had the same procedure with his disciples.

It is not possible to go directly from the profane state to the Christ-like one without going through the ascetic, self-disciplined state.

EVOLUTIONARY STAGES TOWARDS INTEGRAL CHRISTIANITY

EVOLUTIONARY STAGES TOWARDS INTEGRAL CHRISTIANITY  - by Huberto Rohden

The best of Jews or Muslims is forcibly the worst of Christians; a great Catholic is necessarily a bad Protestant, and vice-verse! Leo Tolstoy, sincere disciple of the Nazarene, was excommunicated by his church, in the name of Christ!  Mahatma Gandhi, the gentile Christian from India, was not considered Christian by the Christian churches of the West.  Albert Schweitzer, the eminent exponent of mystical-dynamic Christianity was not allowed by the Evangelical Missionary Society of Paris, to work as a physician and surgeon, in Gabon, Africa!

However, and in spite of everything, we do not deny that the ecclesiastical societies are, to some extent, necessary - perhaps a "necessary evil" - as well as the crutches of a cripple. The masses are unable to be self conduct, they heave to be conducted, to be driven, it is necessary for someone to conduct them. The main mistake of the religious sects is not that they seek to conduct or to be conducted; is in which some of them present themselves in public as Christianity in all its purity and integrity. There are even churches that claim to have the monopoly of truth and holiness of Christianity - such an extreme of selfishness can reach some clergy!

All churches, while sincere, are evolutionary stages towards Christianity, but none of them is Christianity, which does not fit in legal or theological formulas. Light bottled is not light!  Life canned is not life!  Spirit stamped is not spirit! Bureaucratized Christianity is false, belittles, degrades...

To the extent that man experiences within, the kingdom of God, he goes beyond the boundaries of his theological church without harassing that society who became the means of his evolution. The teenager passed his childhood, but did not hate his childhood; mature man abandons adolescence as abandoned childhood, which were steps and stages required to reach to the heights of his adulthood. The butterfly breaks the silken threads of the cocoon of the silkworm, not because it hate this piece of art produced by itself, but because, according to eternal laws, the time came when the cocoon, that served as protection in certain evolutionary period, becomes an obstacle on the new stage of its evolutionary ascension; hence, what yesterday was necessary and sacred, today it would be superfluous and harmful.

The evolving Christian does well to assert its "sectarian cocoon", while it provides the service that must provide, must have also the necessary independence and freedom of spirit to overcome, firmly and calmly, any evolutionary stage, on the day and time that the aid of yesterday have become an obstacle for today or tomorrow.

What is more important is that man be fully honest with himself...

DEAD INK

DEAD INK – by Huberto Rohden

When a painter, more or less skilful or clumsy, exposes his works in an art gallery, a painting to represent a sunrise or sunset, a landscape, a stretch of coastline, or other matters of any nature, usually the experts or pseudo-experts, are left captivated and sometimes in ecstasy with that set of dead ink, limited by the narrowness of a frame. And those who know nothing of art and always think with the head of the neighbour, assume airs and attitudes of accomplished masters in the field; speak on "interplay of light" in "happy outlook" in "iridescence" (the jet setters say nuances); recalling reputable names of painters from other nations picked from some art gallery guide, in order to give to the naive, and even to themselves, the impression of a encyclopaedic culture.

But when the Supreme Artist of the Universe paints, every morning, day time, dusk and night, stunning panoramas of stupendous beauty - who remembers to admire those masterpieces?

Who give thanks for that permanent exhibition... incomparable?

Woe to those who...

"Woe to those who encourage sin to one of these little ones." Mark, 9. 42 - an interpretation of the words of Jesus, the Christ, by Huberto Rohden

These words of Jesus are a stark warning to those who, through the ignorance of the Laws of Justice, trespasses the physical, moral, ethics and spiritual sacredness of our children. Abusing the innocence of humans in development, making from this abuse a game to their own benefits, whether in exploiting the innocent image for commercial purpose; exploitation of underage labour; in domestic violence; the neglect of governments or authorities who inhibit or prohibit access to schools; by inducing the little ones to drug addiction; in religious circles when on behalf of certain dogmas, exploit child intimacy; and in the most horrific of crimes, urging them to be sex objects, activity so widely expressed in our society, as evidenced particularly also in sordid electronic social networks.

Below, follows the interpretation that Professor Rohden gives to that words of warning given by one of the most righteous men known to mankind.

It is with these words - "woe to those who encourage sin to one of these little ones" - which ends the familiar scene of Jesus blessing the children, scene usually explored only to show the love that the Nazarene dedicated to these innocent souls.

However, opens, behind these words, immense abyss, a true universe of mysteries, that our theologians and interpreters of sacred texts leave, in general, without comment.

Jesus says that children "have faith in him" and therefore, is immensely serious to encourage them to sin.

But how?  Some of these children had faith in Jesus?  In which way, if any of them knew him?  If, for them, the Nazarene was a simple rabbi, like so many others?  What did Jesus mean by this "have faith in him"?

This "have faith" is not a conscious act, explicit faith, but rather an attitude of implied faith. This "have faith" is a state of the soul of these little ones, which is, a Christ-like state, is what the later Christian writer from Carthage, Tertullian, left transparent in the words about the "anima naturaliter christiana", which means: the human soul is Christ-like by its very nature. If those Hebrew children possessed Christ-like attitude, by virtue of their own human nature, will that they were in a state of original sin, like say the theologians of the Christian churches?  In which way is reconciled this faith, this Christ-like attitude of the soul, with the state of sin in which they would been conceived?  None of these children were "baptized"; boys were circumcised, but circumcision did not take the original sin. And girls, for which there was no circumcision?  It is evident that all these children who "believe in Jesus", were in a state in which they were conceived and born. If they were sinners by nature and heritage, how they were in Christ-like state?  And if adults are cautioned not to give them encouragement to sin, it does not assume that these little ones were still in a state of perfect purity, without sin?

Jesus ends his warning with this mysterious words: "Because their angels contemplate unceasingly the face of my Father which is in heaven." Mathew, 18. 10

Who are these angels?

It is universal in mankind the belief in "tutelary angels", but also in "tempting angels".  Also the Bible, either the Old or the New Testament, acknowledges the existence of these invisible entities.

The Latin word “angelus”, literally means "messenger", designating conscious and free entities, with invisible body, which executes the will of God in different levels of the Cosmos; in the event that contradicts the will of God, they are the so called "adversary", "devil". If that entity fulfils the will of God, is an angel.

There are, therefore invisible entities that accompany men, influencing them for good or for evil, looking for to harmonize or to disharmonize their vibrations. These entities are like "auras", or "breaths" that affect us positive or negatively, depending on our personal receptivity.

Since the intimate essence of all things is Divine, and therefore, the human soul essentially Divine, or Christ-like, exists in the child a positive foundation, good, Divine, but this attitude is found in the potential state, as dormant, embryonic. Because of this latent potentiality, the child's soul is basically neutral, colourless, and may receive from outside both positive and negative influences; the child's soul is found transient, unstable and in transitory equilibrium and may be easily magnetized, positive or negatively, deflecting the magnetic needle to the right or left, according to the external influences that the child receives.

"To encourage the sin" does not necessarily supposes words or acts of present persons; may also be done by the mere presence and inner attitude of people internally disharmonious; may a person, when in the anti-Christ-like state, encourage a child soul to sin, yet Christ-like, to hinder their attitude of "faith", this attitude of fidelity to the Christ within. It would be a kind of anti-Christ-like poisoning by "induction".

Angels, these emissaries of Divinity that protect the human souls, Christ-like by their nature, would turn against man who corrupt children soul, drawing to him the penalties inherent from violating the sacredness of their soul."

KNOWING COSMORAMA

KNOWING COSMORAMA – by Huberto Rohden

Fully recovered from the incident of the "sinking" and fully aware and risen, Rohden started to be more and more familiar with the clean and decontaminated atmosphere of Cosmorama.

On a bright afternoon, with her friend Iris, he went for a walk around the beach bordering a dense forest when... "Indescribable was my fright when silently emerged from the gloom of the forest, a huge tiger head. I let out an involuntary cry of terror and I hid behind a tree trunk. Iris laughed heartily of my fear, and to prove that there was no reason for it, she put her arm around its fluffy neck, did pat it and offered the rest of her lunch. She asked me to come near to such a beast and to caress the king of the forest, which I did with some reluctance, and found that my "positive aura" had prevailed over the "negative aura", the contrary, the tiger did not would have regarded me as a friend.

Yet, on that afternoon, I had repeated opportunity to see that does not exist "wild animals"; there exist only "wild man". "Wild man" is the sensorial mental man, not yet rationalized by the spirit. It is this specimen that prevails between us civilized human beings on Earth.

In prehistoric times, before man woke up his dormant intellect, hostility didn't exist between the world of man and the world of animals. After the awakening of the intellect, man started to divorce from Nature - and thus originated a state of belligerence, either latent or evident, that stands today between man and nature. Intellectual man is tyrannical and exploit Nature, enslaved it, an attitude that compels Nature to respond with hostility, implicitly or explicitly.

But, when  man, from the mere intellectual level, ascends to the heights of the rationality of the spirit, disappears the hostility between him and Nature, because on this level reigns Universal Harmony: a creature fully tuned with the Creator cannot fail to be naturally attuned to all other creatures of God who are in harmony with the supreme cause of the Universe. In this supreme degree of evolution, man simply give up to be a slave of Nature, like the unconscious man, and no longer enslaves it, just as man intellectually conscious: becoming instead friend and ally of Nature, reason why Nature feels man like its "older brother" and opens spontaneously its intimate recesses and its mysterious forces, putting them at the disposal of man cheerfully deified, in the instinctive certainty that a being fully harmonized with the Creator is unable to abuse the creatures of God, because every abuse is the offspring of selfishness, but in the Cosmic Man plenty of reason, selfishness is definitely overcome by love.

We spent all that afternoon to live deliciously with Nature and to talk about the relationship between Nature and man. I left this tour richer than if I had read an entire library..."

AMONG THE INHABITANTS OF COSMORAMA

AMONG THE INHABITANTS OF COSMORAMA - by Huberto Rohden

We do not know for how long our illustrious "castaway" was unconscious on the beaches of Cosmorama. It is known however, that upon awakening, Rohden found himself surrounded by some of the locals, which he said were quite similar to humans on planet Earth, however, much nicer, aesthetically perfect, calm, serene, gentle and kind.

To his greatest joy came near him, a form of woman named Iris - dressed in green, so harmonized with the bronze colour of her smooth skin - much more beautiful than the name she used, the name that resembles the rainbow, symbol of peace and calm – a female spirit that vibrates so well and peaceful...

"No, it was not a dream! Stood before me, concrete and tangible, this young woman, with such beauty that made me love her without the slightest desire to possess. Later, during the whole time I lived in Cosmorama, I found that love between those beings was like pure sunlight and not as a smouldering torch tar; they did not love to explore their loved ones, nor to satisfy their instincts. "Smokeless light" - that was the expression  modelled in my soul, while witnessing the love between those men and women. Love in Cosmorama is not dull, discoloured, anaemic, artificial; on the contrary, is love of intense colour, full of enthusiasm and vitality. But to believe in something so amazing, it would be necessary to experience it personally; because man only knows what he really savoured and suffered in the intimate depths of his being... It would be necessary to drown - to live so intensely.

Iris became my best friend, and she said such stupendous things and with such simplicity that no earthly man might believe.

It was so spontaneous the joy and friendship in the midst of this people - among whom were two pairs of newlyweds - which was so contagious to anyone who was not precisely a block of ice.I have verified for the first time in my life that love has nothing to do with carnal satisfaction, although this may be a natural expression of love. The carnal satisfaction when taken in isolation, is the opposite of love, because it is an expression of personal selfishness, toward which one sex needs the other, mean that a person makes use of another person as a means to achieve a selfish end, which is anti-cosmic.The scope of love is incomparably wider than the satisfaction of the sexual instinct, very characteristic of the animal man of low evolution that only knows libido.

The inhabitants of Cosmorama represent the highest level of human evolution that I know, and therefore is natural to them that the sexual instinct was integrated in love.

The infra-man abuses, the semi-man refuses, the Cosmic-Man uses his superior virtues to realize the perfection of  the Whole Human.”

THE IMAGINARY OF COSMORAMA

THE IMAGINARY OF COSMORAMA - by Huberto Rohden

Professor Rohden wrote during his life time, about one hundred books, whose ideas were divided between Universal Philosophy, Philosophy of the Gospel, Philosophy of Life, Mysteries of Nature, a collection of Biographies and Brochures. Among 39 books listed on Philosophy of Life, Rohden wrote one enigmatic book titled "COSMORAMA", an imaginary trip to a region of the Universe inhabited by spiritually evolved beings.

To undertake this journey, the author brought his own "death", a fictional sinking in a ship, "resurrecting” in a new dimension called Cosmorama, a world of evolved life, far distant from the reality of humans on planet Earth.  Was so well orchestrated, so real that supposed death, that many of his readers eagerly sought the publisher to see if Prof. Rohden had actually died!

Unfortunately the book COSMORAMA was not published in English, and what follows below is only an extract translated of this extraordinary epic.

"The inhabitants of Cosmorama are attuned to God and therefore harmonized with Nature. Incidentally, no one can be truly united with the Universe subconsciously, without maintaining a permanent union with the omniscient part of that same Universe.

For the first time in my life I had a clear awareness of how the inhabitants of the earth are divorced with the world that surrounds them... earthly Nature and their fellow humans.

Man acting purely with his senses, not yet intellectualized, coexists with Nature, because he is part of it, dominated by the same laws that governs automatically that department of the Universe, slave of his subconscious instincts as any mineral, vegetable or animal beings.

Intellectualized man is partially emancipated from the laws of the inferior Nature, because he conquered his ego-consciousness which is human privilege on planet Earth, thus becoming selfish, self-centred, egomaniac. He judges himself as a tyrant, a dictator and explores Nature that ends up being the slave of man. But how can the slave be friend of whom enslaves? So Nature, is enemy of man on earth, the intellectual man, not yet rational, which unfortunately destroys Nature jeopardizing its biological balance.

Man, overcoming his senses and intellect, the rational man, the cosmic man, fully realized with the Spiritual Infinity Reason, is no longer slave nor enslaves Nature, instead, is friend, ally, because he understands Nature and Nature understands him. Consequently this man becomes married to lady Natura, his beautiful wife, and both, in that mysterious marriage, generate offspring that none of them alone could procreate. Man, who before the altar of the Eternal Divinity and with the blessings of the High Priest of the Universe, marries Nature, becomes the creator of the Cosmic World, which is the consortium between spirit and matter, between Earth and Heaven.

The Cosmic being is always a mix between the material and the spiritual, between the mundane and the divine. This fusion of the elements from above and below, of plurality and unity, is what produces a world of ineffable poetry, because poetry is essentially a consortium between two different things; is the "identity of opposites ", the mysterious synthesis of antitheses. Poetry is unity in diversity, diversity in unity. Who realizes the unique essence in many life existences, and on those many life existences, realizes the only one essence (Source), this man is a poet. Poetry is Christmas and Easter at the same time: the materialization of the spirit of Christmas, and in Easter the spiritualization of matter. Poetry is the incarnation of the eternal Logos and the resurrection of the ephemeral and immortalized matter. So is the Universal Man.

The life of the cosmic man oscillates smoothly between Christmas of the incarnation of God in Nature and the Easter resurrection of Nature in God. For him, it is not possible to see God without Nature. The more this man penetrates in Nature, more he is in intimacy with God. The more he is with Nature more “deified” he is.

Like lovers who do not exploit each other, but spontaneously serve one another, and on that wish to serve they find the supreme bliss, so is the cosmic man who does not explore Nature, but cultivates it lovingly, and Nature, on its part, opens spontaneously and joyously its secrets and treasures. Therefore, the cosmic man is, by the virtues of ethical and moral citizenship, a thaumaturge, a miracle worker, because the thaumaturgy is nothing else but the spontaneous exchange between the latent forces of Nature and the harmless use of it by man. The so-called "miracles" are the legitimate children of this fruitful marriage between the beautiful wife Natura and her vigorous husband, the Universal Man.

Francis of Assisi, after Jesus, the Christ, was, perhaps, the greatest cosmic man known by earthly humanity, he had made his marriage, as he says: to the lady Poverty, i.e., he had acquired "poverty by the spirit" or " purity of heart", which is nothing else than the complete and final liberation of the enslaved worlds of  the senses and the world of the enslaving intellect, entering into the fascinating world of the "glorious liberty of the children of God."

The sensorial man is compulsorily dependent.

The intellectual man is deceptively independent.

The rational man is spontaneously interdependent."

FOR AN IDEAL

FOR AN IDEAL - by Huberto Rohden

Someone wrote, to have some sort of consolation at the beginning of his decadence as human being, that life begins at the age of forty. Reportedly another, even less conformed, publishes a book entitled "Life begins at the age of sixty".

What I do know is that life begins there where begins a great ideal, that the rest is not life, but simply to vegetate or to let be lived by external and fortuitous circumstances. To take the reins of your life and destiny, through the knowledge of the truth about yourself, this is the number one task of our earthly existence.

Those who not do it, have lived in vain.

TWO WINGS

TWO WINGS - by Huberto Rohden

All the great spiritual teachers of mankind, Buddha and Jesus, the Christ, in particular, insist that man in order to fly to the heights of his Self-realization must have two wings, because no one, or nothing flies with only one wing. No plane flies on one wing. No bird flies with one wing. No insect can fly with one wing.

And the soul can not fly with one wing. The soul also needs two wings to fly.

Those two wings according to the masters are: prayer and renunciation - "pray always and never cease to pray", "whoever does not renounce all that he has can not be my disciple."

Two words for two wings. Prayer should be a permanent attitude of the soul, an attitude of the Self.

Pray, or "os" means mouth in Latin. The genitive form is "oris". From "oris", the word became prayer. Literally, open the mouth of the soul, to open the soul to the Infinite, to talk to the Divine.

To renounce, according to the great masters is firstly to renounce the illusion of our ego-personality. Renouncing with the identification of our human ego. We have to give up this eternal illusion that we are only ego. It is not renunciation of personal belongings, for instance, but to insist on detachment, to avoid being possessed by our possessions.

When a fruit is fully ripe, it falls by itself. No need to pluck it from the tree branch. All ripe fruits detaches spontaneously from its stalk. Now, when a fruit is still green, is hard to be plucked, clings tightly to its stalk because cannot live without this form of support, hence, not yet realized, mature. A fruit that is not ripe is terribly attached to its stalk and suffers a painful laceration if pulled. And so it happens with man who is not detached from his ego.

INDIVIDUAL WEALTH AND SOCIAL COMMITMENTS

INDIVIDUAL WEALTH AND SOCIAL COMMITMENTS - by Huberto Rohden

Greediness for material things remains the only obstacle in our pilgrimage to Self-Realization. No other moral lapses received much attention from the divine Master, as he always prevent his followers from the dangers of enslavement of material goods: "No one can serve two masters, God and wealth."

In ancient times, the only way for someone to be freed from this slavery of possessing material goods, was to deserting the world - like Saint Francis of Assisi did - leaving all his possessions, and even today, self-sacrificing and heroic souls, choose this path.

There are, however, another forms of liberation.

Consists of the following; in man to be able to redirect part of his fortune for the benefit and satisfaction of others in disadvantage, despite still be legally owner of his wealth. Doing so, man ceases to be the only owner, becoming manager of part of God's heritage.

Radical capitalism defends the right of individual ownership with individual benefit.

Communism defends the social ownership with social benefits.

However, neither capitalism nor communism are acceptable systems. Each of  them has truths and errors. The truth of capitalism is the right to individual ownership - but its big mistake is individual benefit. Communism advocates the great truth of social benefits and makes the mistake of banning individual ownership. If we avoid the two errors of capitalism and communism, and stay with the two truths that each of them contains, we have a form of Christian Socialism, based on the idea of individual ownership with social benefits. The great mistake is not the right to individual ownership; the mistake lies with the individual owner who wants to enjoy alone or with his small group of followers, all the benefits, regardless of the sufferings of the rest of humanity.

While man is not convinced that he is only the administrator of the heritage of God for the benefit of humanity, there will be no solution to the painful social problems. But this conviction should be born from a great understanding of the truth about himself.

When man surpasses his little ego and discovers his great Self, he loses the narrow notion of what belongs to him... possessing wealth, material goods...

The death of the false self and its resurrection in the great "Ours" necessarily produces the death of my little "Mine" and rises the great Ours... the great and fair idea of sharing!

This is the "Christian Communism" of  spontaneous love, quite different from the political law of the compulsory communism...

THE WISDOM OF THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT

THE WISDOM OF THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT - by Huberto Rohden

Before beginning his public life, Jesus, the Christ, spent 40 days of silence and meditation in the desert. And the first message he addressed to people is called the "Sermon on the Mount", delivered in the hills of Kurun Hattin, southwest of Lake Gennesaret.

Those words can be considered as the "platform of the Kingdom of God”, as we would say in political language. Represents the expressions of the divine mystics and human ethics, aimed to the Self-realization of man.

At the beginning, he spoke about the Eight Beatitudes, where the Master proclaims happy, precisely those whom the world considers unfortunate: the poor, the pure, the meek, the sufferers, the persecuted, etc. This distinction between happiness and enjoyment, unhappiness and suffering, goes through the entire Gospel of Christ, and can only be comprehended by those who have awakened to the Reality of their own spiritual Self.

The Sermon on the Mount is the most striking contrast between the patterns of the profane man and the ideal of man spiritually initiated. To comprehend so exalted wisdom man must overcome the dictates of his analytical intellect and to open the soul to an intuitive experience. Profane man thinks that is an absurd to love those who hate us, do good to our malefactors, to hand the tunic to whom stole the cover, to suffer more injustice rather than retaliate. The Master's message is an invitation for man to convert, i.e., to go beyond mind-ego to a new dimension of consciousness, unprecedented and unheard, paradoxically grand.

There is no use to analyse this maximum document of Christ-like experience, because only comprehends one who lived and experienced it. And to prelude the advent of the kingdom of God on earth, it is necessary that each individual carry within that kingdom; to prepare every single day some time to fully interiorize his own Divine Self, his own Internal Christ trough meditation.

During meditation, man empties the entire contents of his human ego, feeling nothing, thinking nothing, wanting nothing, exposing himself unconditionally to the invasion of the divine fullness.

Where there is an emptiness happens a fullness. Fulfilment in God requires man emptiness.

But do not be fooled! One who lives 24 hours fulfilled with things of the ego - greed,  selfishness, lusts, profane amusements – cannot be emptied in half an hour of meditation; this person deludes and  mystifies himself by a sterile mysticism. It is essential that  man who wants to make a fruitful and efficient meditation, must live detached from  superfluous things and only with the necessary for a decent human life. Luxury and lust are garbage and make impossible life in harmony with the spirit of Christ and the Gospel.

Man who wants to be Christ-like, not only Christian, needs to live life 100% honest with himself, and do not be deceive with palliatives and camouflages that obscure the truth about himself.

THE DIVINE CHRIST IS ASSIMILATED BY THE SOUL THROUGH FAITH

THE DIVINE CHRIST IS ASSIMILATED BY THE SOUL THROUGH FAITH - by Huberto Rohden

At the Last Supper, Jesus dramatized the most mysterious of all his parables.

And till this days Christianity does not properly understood the parable of the bread and wine.

In the Synagogue of Capernaum, as stated in Chapter 6 of the Gospel of John, the Master had alluded to this mysterious parallel: the relationship between food and life on the one hand - and on the other, Jesus as a human being and the spirit of the divine Christ.

Through an esoteric parable, Jesus shows that the essence of the life-giving spirit of Christ can only be assimilated by the human soul through faith.

But what is meant by faith?

The Latin word fides is the radical loyalty, harmony, attunement. This Latin noun has no verb; so that the Latin Vulgate used a verb of another radical, credere, to believe, instead of "faith", and thus began the tragedy of Christendom.

Believing in the usual sense, has nothing to do with faith. The Greek noun pistis, which appears in the original Gospel of the first century, has the verb pisteuein, which could be translated as loyalty.

And loyalty, faith, i.e., establish perfect fidelity between the human soul and the spirit of God. The well-known topic "who believe will be saved" does not apply, but " those who have faith (faithfulness) will be saved" is perfectly logical.

When on the physical plane, humanity vitalizes its body by food, it does not transfer to its body the material substance that ingests, but through the mysterious process of digestion and assimilation, extracts from the material food substance "calories", as science calls this immaterial soul of matter.

Calorie is solar energy that was stored by photosynthesis in the edible substance, and through digestion, calories are extracted and transferred to the human body.

Calorie, the heat energy from sunlight is something related to life. This solar energy vitalizes the body and gives strength, beauty, joy. If the body does not have vital fidelity (fides, faith) with solar power, could not absorb that vibration of the sun. A dead body while exposed under the solar energy does not assimilate it, only a living body is able to absorb solar energy, only that body has fides, affinity with the sun, only a living body has loyalty, vitalized by heat and sunlight.

According to Einstein, light is non-condensed energy, and matter is condensed energy.

Life is light highly intensified, life is revitalized light, and for this reason, life cannot grasp gross matter, but only the cosmic soul of matter, which is light, immaterial calorie.

Highly intuitive men knew, and know, through an inside view, which others seek to discover through laborious intellectual analysis. Anticipate truths that science discovers centuries and millennia later. About 3500 years before Einstein, Moses wrote that in the first Yom, God created light, and from that light came all other things. Only in the 20th century Einstein proved that light is the basis of the chemical elements, and of all things.

MAN AND HIS IDEALS

MAN AND HIS IDEALS - by Huberto Rohden

Man can be happy in the midst of suffering - but also can be unhappy in the midst of enjoyment. Suffering and joy are things that happen to us - happiness or unhappiness is something that we produce. Suffering is beyond our control, we can not avoid it - but, as happiness is the result of our desires, we own it, regardless of enjoyment or suffering. And with this "Declaration of Independence" and that "abolition of slavery", man enters into  the mysterious area of the "glorious liberty of the children of God".

Ultimately, happiness is freedom, and freedom is power.

When in man awakens within the great power, the omnipotence of the divine spirit that slumbers in him, he becomes free of all kinds of slavery and knows for the first time what is true freedom, and this freedom makes him deeply happy.

The liberation is the "narrow path" is the "narrow gate" - happiness is the "kingdom of God", according to the words of the Divine Master.

As paradoxical as that seems, man is far more his distant ideal than the reality of his present moment; he is more what he would be, in his deep and permanent attitude, than what he is in his superficial and transient actions.

Man is not his transitory deeds - man is his permanent attitude. For this, man will be after death what he was while alive. Death, as merely physical process, cannot produce a metaphysical or spiritual phenomenon. A transient act can not modify a permanent attitude, unless this act is the beginning of a new and permanent inner attitude. A sinner who "repents and confesses" but without radically changing his inner attitude, deceives himself. Convert yourself, instead of confessing, would be the advice that confessors should give to many of his penitents... impenitent.

“YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD, YOUR GOD”

“YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD, YOUR GOD” -  by Huberto Rohden

How can I love emotionally, intellectually and even physically One who is pure spirit? How can the heart, the mind, the body achieve this object of love?

In fact, if God were only one transcendent God, pure abstract spirit, only the pure spirits could love; but being God, besides transcendent in his deeds, and immanent in every one of His creatures, it is possible to love him also with heart, mind and body.

God is unconscious in the mineral.
God is subconscious in the vegetable.
God is semiconscious on the animal.
God is ego-conscious in the intellectual.
God is fully conscious spiritually.
God is totally conscious on himself.

If God were not immanent in his deeds, no one could love him with the power of the heart, mind and body.

As Truth, God is transcendent.

As Beauty, God is immanent.

When Truth and Beauty merge into a grand symphony, emerges the stupendous Cosmos Poetry, synthesis of Truth and Beauty.

Truth is infinitely beautiful.

Beauty is profoundly true.

Hence, Eternal Life is necessarily the eternal Beatitude, because it is born from a consortium of Truthful and Beauty, who is Love.

While the "love the Lord, your God" is only one ethical precept, a duty, a categorical imperative of moral conscience, not yet awakened the soul of love; only when this "love the Lord, your God" is no longer a compulsory duty and becomes a spontaneous wish, in a bright understanding, an irresistible enthusiasm - so that man enters the "joy of his Lord".

WHO MAY SET US FREE?

WHO MAY SET US FREE? – by Huberto Rohden

The Atomic Age man, who went through two wars of extermination can no longer believe in the redemptive power of our culture and civilization.

Nowadays, man has lost faith in science and technology as factors of deliverance.

Science, technology, politics, progress, civilization, humanism, ritualism, nationalism, etc., suffered tremendous collapse; it is proven that nothing can set us free, because all of these concepts failed and humanity drowned in a sea of blood and hatred.

Man never felt so frustrated and sceptical of himself as in our days. The Lucifer of our ego cannot redeem us from the results of our selfishness. And the prospect of a new world war with nuclear weapons, destruction, terrorism, erases in the soul of modern man the ultimate spark of optimism and confidence in himself.

Humanity longs for redemption. Whence should come the redeemer?

From outside? Through dogmas, rites, theologies?

--- But these have caused wars!

From within? Through human intelligence?

--- But it was precisely this that disgraced us, creating warlike engines of destruction.

There remains no other alternative but to overcome the ritualism and science to find in ourselves the "Archimedes point", in order to support the redemptive lever.

And this cannot be the fulcrum of our ego, but something deeper and more solid.
