During my life journey, I've been studying, reading and re-reading authors whose spiritual paths have reached higher levels of spiritual wisdom.
My most intimate contact with one of those authors was Paramahansa Yogananda through his book "Autobiography of a Yogi" which moved me deeply.
When Huberto Rohden came into my life, it was as a continuity of Yogananda's teachings, but for me, with Rohden, it was with someone who spoke my mother language, the Portuguese, which made me understand and mainly comprehend fully his message.
I cannot say it was an easy task, because the creativity, imagination, challenge, geniality, forced me to dive deep into his views and ideas more broadly.
Another task not less easy was to adapt his creation of neologisms to the exact meaning in English. I remember in one of his writings he made reference to the serious work of the translator, who can often betray the original idea of the author, distorting and confusing the message.
In that aspect, I spent a lot of time - based on his original texts – understanding and comprehending his thoughts to be able to adapt and to translate with fidelity.
It is also important to note that my intention is not to present his writings in an academic way, but rather to simplify it, in order to enable readers to understand and comprehend without being lost in too many details.
I hope all readers can enjoy these posts.
