Receive with love the love that is given - and
continue to serve with perfect humility, unpretentiously.
The dearer is this soul, the more you serve,
without exploitation and expecting anything in return.
But if a soul imposes to another soul a duty, an
obligation, starts the agony of love and friendship.
Only in a climate of absolute spontaneity this
delicate little plant can grow.
And when this soul that was dear to you goes away
- do not hold it back.
Let it go in full freedom.
Allow the guardian angels of your prayers and
longings to follow that soul under the protection of white wings as a defence
against evil – but do not force this soul to stay with you.
The more greater friend will be this soul in
spontaneous freedom away from you - than in forced slavery near you.
Let it go its way - even if this path leads to
the end of the Universe, to extreme distances from your body.
If between this soul and yours happens to exist
spiritual affinity, there will be no distance enough in the whole Universe that
you cannot bridge it.
Even if this soul would lift off and fix its
temple beyond the Sirius star, beyond the ultimate phosphorescence of the Milky
Way, beyond the most distant nebulae worlds in formation - this dear soul would
be with you...
However, if there is no spiritual affinity, this
soul might live under the same roof with you and with you sitting at the same
table – it will not be yours, and nor will be between true unity and happiness.
For the spirit, spiritual closeness is paramount
– the material distance represents nothing.
Comprehend, O Man - and go wherever you
want!
Love – and you will always be near the loved
one...
Across the Universe...
Within yourself...
Note:
"Kinship is a creation of the human ego - but
affinity comes from the Divine Self. It would
be ideal that human beings united by affection of their egos were also tuned to
comprehend their spiritual selves. This
comprehension is related to the power of discernment and the vital experience of
the inner reality of humans; from a sacrificial virtuosity to a joyful
wisdom".
