YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

What Einstein, that famous universal, mystical, visionary, humanist, pacifist scientist proved in his analytical science in the 20th century, Moses, with his intuitive wisdom, already knew, approximately fifteen centuries before the birth of Jesus, since at the beginning of Genesis, he affirms that in the first period, God created the light, but not the sunlight and other stars, which, according to him, appeared only in the fourth period, for Moses speaks of the invisible cosmic light, which materialized radiating from all other celestial bodies in the Universe.

Whether in the pages of Genesis, written more than 3,500 years before our time - at the end of the Bronze Age - or in the present century, scholars say that light is the Alpha and Omega of all finite things; Alpha, because everything is generated by light, and Omega, for everything is illuminable.

The cosmic Jesus claims that he is the light of the Cosmos, not in the physical sense, but the metaphysical view; “Before the world existed, I am”, he says in his farewell prayer, at the holy supper.

And he affirms that every man is essentially that same cosmic light which was already manifest in him, shining at the top of the chandelier of his spiritual conscience, while in the profane man it is still opaque and hidden by the speck of tyrannical ego and ignorance which locks his eyes, a part of the arrogance that manifests itself in the ignorant man when contradicted. When Jesus says: “I and the Father are one, the Father is in me”, he adds: “the Father is also in you”; and when he says: “I am the light of the world”, he adds: “you are also the light of the world”.

Certain theologians, still confused by the illusion of their vulgarities, do not admit that the human being is formed by the same essence of the Father's divine substance; they want Jesus to be “begotten”, born of the unique and homogeneous substance of Divinity, and for us to be “made” of heterogeneous diversity, not born of God, but created by him. However, this theology directly contradicts the Gospel and the explicit words of Jesus, it even contradicts the words that Paul of Tarsus said to the Areopagus philosophers: “We are of divine strain”.

There is no blasphemous pantheism in this conception of the Christ substance of all men. The single, homogeneous substance does not refer to finite, mortal human existence, but the infinite essence, and, because man is finite, he is infinitely inferior to divinity, and when he sins, it is not God who sins, it is his human tyrannical ego, which is not like God.

When it is said that the finite man is infinitely inferior to divinity, it confers what Einstein said in one of his academic meetings, that: “Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science is convinced that a spirit is manifested in the Laws of the Universe, which is far superior to that of man”. And this is a perfectly coherent statement for if there are laws in the Universe, they can only have been created by the legislative cosmic power, a Reality that the vast majority of men are reluctant to have faith!

Man's task is to make his existential human ego a perfect image and the likeness of his essential divine Self. Just as Jesus' divine Self made his human ego a perfect vehicle for his cosmic Christ, so must every Christlike human Self transform his human ego into a perfect vehicle and agent of his Word, which became flesh and dwells in each one.

“Every human soul is Christlike by its very nature.”

Therefore, man's mission is to reveal, through the prism of his multicoloured humanity, the colourless and divine light of Jesus.

The human personality can serve as a deterrent and oppose the intensity of the divine light, instead of being enraptured by it, while still crawling along the barren plains of mediocrity - but it can also serve as a triangular prism to beneficially diffuse that colourless light across the diversified and multicoloured humanity. The human triangular prism - soul, mind and body - can make the colourless light of the Word a transparent diffuser of multicoloured beauties, instead of functioning as an obstacle to the invasion of that light.
