In the human microcosm, the core is the Self, which is the source of all forces and the centre of all peripheries; is the fixed point; the undivided “individual” of the Universe’s soul.
When Jesus said that man is cosmic light like himself, all wisdom of the centuries and millennia were revealed.
Teilhard de Chardin spoke of the “alpha and omega” of man; wrote a book about The Phenomenon of Man, which goes from the hylosphere (sphere of inanimate matter) through the biosphere (sphere of life), and today has come to the noosphere (sphere of human thought), in demand of the logosphere (sphere of reason), which it is the Logos, the Word, the Cosmic Christ, the Light of the World.
And it is through all this multi-millennial journey - through hyle (matter), bios (life), noos (intelligence) towards logos (reason), man is guided, consciously or unconsciously, by the cosmic light of his inner Christ.
In an endless discussion, scholars claim that man came from matter, from the nonhuman animal, yet they ignore their own ignorance. For, according to the simplest logic and mathematics, the lesser cannot produce the major, the inferior cannot produce the superior. These men confuse source with the channel, cause with condition. It is possible that the human body flowed through material vehicles, but under no circumstances did it come from these channels; the man came from the same and only Infinite Source from which all finite things derive. The man was conceived ready, real, already manifested! The man was conceived ready, real, already manifested! Finite beings may have flowed through other similar finite, but they cannot have come from other distinct finite. Finite beings can function as potentialities (channels), but cannot be the potency (source).
Science has proved that all the elements of chemistry, from which all things are derived, came from light - and from that light came all finite things from the Infinite, as wisdom knows and intuits from the beginning of humanity.
The light of human essence came from the Light of Divine Essence. Jesus, who is the light of the fully realized world, states that he also came from the Infinite Light that he calls the Father: “I and the Father are one, but the Father is greater than me.” He, the Cosmic Christ is the main channel, which came from the source of the Father; and we are like secondary channels linked to his main channel. So, he says: “No one goes to the Father except through me; I am the path, the truth, and the life. He who follows me does not walk in darkness, but has the light of life.”
