The more one approaches the great Cosmic Centre, the more it approaches its fellow pilgrims who are following the same path to spiritual evolution. This is the glorious mystery of the “communion of saints”, of the apostolic creed of modern prophets. The spiritual man seems to tread solitary paths, secret ways at the edge of life, away from the mass of profane and noisy people; but in reality, no one lives more intensely and in better company in the society than the initiate, the saint, the mystic, the seer of the kingdom of God.
There is a cosmic sympathy, spiritual telepathy, a mysterious divine symbiosis among all the pilgrims to the Highest, who, consciously or unconsciously, are all united in a universal fraternity.
The fatherhood of God results in the immediate fraternity of men.
There is no true partnership between the profane and the evil because all selfishness is dissociating, disintegrating, fragmented, centrifugal, chaotic. Every selfish man wants to be a sun for himself, and he cannot tolerate being a planet in the company of other planets. However, the altruist cultivates love, knows and recognizes the centrality of the great divine Sun, and feels happy to be able to gravitate around the central star in the company of other planets.
The law of the selfish is chaos, disorder.
The law of the altruist is Cosmos, order, harmony.
