SOMEWHAT MORE

The text below is a poem of cosmic wisdom. André Luiz, the spiritual author, reveals in the expression in this form of writing, the learning, comprehension and overcome of all the vicissitudes he went through in life which made him replace the mental, emotional and physical ego by the essential and divine Self, through self-knowledge and subsequent self-realization, presenting with this personal achievement, the most renowned human ethics in favour of his fellow men.

The message is a mechanical psychography, which is characterized by writing where the medium's hand performs the transcription, moving in a totally involuntary way, advancing until the end of the message. The greatest example of mechanical psychography that humanity knows was used by Francisco Cândido Xavier, a famous Brazilian Spiritist medium, who received the following message:

“You have the impression of having exhausted all your resources in a given task of love, but if you persevere a little more in devotion to that task, no one can foresee the triumphs of light that will shine in your path.

You feel sick and want to get time off from work, but if you stay on the job any longer, no one can predict the treasure trove of new opportunities that will appear.

You have found immense difficulties in exercising good deeds and yearn to escape from them, but if you persist a little longer in building beneficence, no one can predict the triumph you will receive in these hours of work for charity.

You believe that you cannot tolerate the annoying friend, the stubborn child, the unconscious brother, the fickle wife, or the unreasonable husband. Still, if you bear the family struggle a little longer, no one can predict the extent of future joy in your domestic nest.

You assume that bad luck is a constant in your life, but if you cultivate a little more faithfulness to your own commitments, no one can predict the extent of your success tomorrow.

You're tired and don't want to listen to a long-talking partner, but if you stretch this sacrifice a little more, no one can predict the bounty harvest wonders that will come from your brief minutes of kindness.

Note that to accomplish this or that yourself, you incessantly demand from your fellow men a little more kindness, a little more cooperation, a little more time, a little more affection...

Patience is an attribute of geniuses.

It's fair that you want a little more happiness, but for that, you need to help a little more for the happiness of others.

Pay attention, therefore, to the lessons of life, and you will comprehend that the victory in good is always to work according to duty and to serve a little more.”
